Who was the only president besides Obama to earn a law degree from Harvard?
- Who was the last president without a college degree?
- Why is Obama considered to be the 44th president, when he’s only the 43rd person to serve in that office?
Thanks to everyone who played during our second week of What’s Next Trivia – and congratulations to Abby W., an assistant librarian at a law firm in Minneapolis, who answered our trivia question and won the drawing for a $30 Starbucks gift card! We look forward to seeing Abby and our other Twin Cities friends at next week’s preview breakfast in Minneapolis. In the meantime, keep playing What’s Next Trivia with Johnny & Jenny Westlaw – and we’ll keep handing out those Starbucks gift cards.

Answers to Bonus Questions
- Rutherford Hayes graduated from Harvard Law School – way back in 1845.
- Harry Truman never earned a college sheepskin, although he did study law at the University of Missouri in Kansas City for a couple of years.
- Grover Cleveland served non-consecutive terms, so he is counted as the 22nd and the 24th presidents.

Last week, we began our What’s Next Trivia contest by asking which mythical hero could be seen in the breakfast tour video from Los Angeles walking behind Johnny and Jenny at the Hollywood Walk of Fame. It wasn’t a bird, or a plane – it was… Superman!
Stephanie D., a law librarian in North Carolina, was our randomly selected winning contestant – which means we’re sending $30 worth of Starbucks gift cards her way. When we notified Stephanie of her win, she commented, “Wow, what a nice surprise! I enjoyed watching the WestlawNext demos – Johnny is a hoot!” (We think so too.)
We’ll be handing out more Starbucks gift cards every week for the rest of the tour, so keep following the WestlawNext tour right here!

If you’ve been following our roadshow videos, you may have noticed our poll asking which songs and books would be the first to occupy your new iPods and Kindles, should you be among the lucky winners at our WestlawNext preview breakfasts.
The results are in, and our (completely and utterly unscientific) survey gave us these insights into your artistic tastes:
- You are true children of the ‘80s, still under the sway of the biggest pop stars of that era, including Michael Jackson, Cyndi Lauper, Prince, and…ahem…Huey Lewis and the News.
- You like your books with a hint of law. Someone named To Kill a Mockingbird – whose protagonist, Atticus Finch, is an inspiration to lawyers everywhere – to the top spot on their Kindle reading list. Others would cram their Kindles with such weighty tomes as the U.S. Constitution and the complete works of Shakespeare – who, despite his infamous “kill all the lawyers” line in Henry VI, may have been trained as a lawyer himself.
- You like the fun stuff, too. Popular nonfiction, science fiction, and even the occasional Terry Goodkind fantasy novel would all make the first cut on many of your Kindles. (Not a peep about John Grisham, though.)
Thanks to everyone who participated in our (completely and utterly unscientific) survey! We really enjoyed your responses.
