Q: Why is WordPerfect being supported by WestlawNext as an email delivery option?

A: It may sometimes seem like Microsoft Word is the only word processer on the market, there’s no doubting its popularity. However, Corel’s WordPerfect is the second most popular word processor and office suite for law firms and government organizations. WordPerfect users represent a smaller, but significant percentage of WestlawNext customers — many of whom have been using WordPerfect for years.

To help support these customers, we’ve added WordPerfect as a delivery format option for email and download. The ability to deliver documents in WordPerfect saves time and effort that would otherwise be spent on converting newly delivered documents and also means they won’t need to spend time converting an existing library of documents to a new format.
